NARCISSUS 2006

Narcissus was an exhibition organised, curated and managed by Romanian artist working and living in the UK, Gabriela Boiangiu.

Seven Romanian artists participated to this project: Mirela Ivanciu, Stela Lie, Ioana Fluerasu, Roxana Ionescu, Silvia Costin, Irina Butosina, Gabriela Boiangiu. The exhibition and the project also benefited from a very special participation of Romanian artist Geta Bratescu. In this exhibition the seven female Romanian artists explored issues of identity and reflection. The display as well as the visit from the Romanian artists was enriching and exquisite.
